The WebOffices instructional design approach focuses on two primary learning models.
We utilize the ADDIE framework for overall course design, which includes five phases:
- Analysis
- Design
- Development
- Implementation
- Evaluation
In developing instructional materials, we draw upon Gagne's Nine Events of Learning:
1. Gain attention;
2. Inform the learner of the objective;
3. Stimulate recall of prerequisite learning;
4. Present new material;
5. Provide learning guidance;
6. Elicit performance;
7. Provide feedback about correctness;
8. Assess performance; and
9. Enhance retention and recall.
