Can weboffices travel to my location to do the taping?
- Yes, this is totally possible. We have a professional studio in Chicago, but we also use traveling videographers. It’s also possible to do voiceover powerpoint narrations right over the phone.
I have some old VHS tapes, can you use those for courses?
- Absolutely. We can convert them to internet-ready video format, and then incorporate them into your course or presentation setup. Reusing existing material makes sense economically and increases efficiency.
I have a lot of existing PowerPoints, what’s the fastest and easiest way to turn these into online courses?
- Simply send us the PowerPoints, and we will convert them into a web-ready Flash format for instant online viewing.
How do you create training videos?
- Usually, our clients have the course content on PowerPoint presentations. Our normal format for training videos incorporates both your video presentation of the materials and the PowerPoint slide within the same browser window. To create the video, either you come to our recording studio or we come to your office, and we videotape you while you present the course materials and click through your PowerPoint slides. Can I sell my training or other videos over the internet?
- Yes, we can equip your training website with full commerce, so that you can make money on your courses while you sleep. We can also incorporate on-line testing, and send certificates to the students upon successful completion.
I have several hours of video training, do you offer discounts for larger amounts of time?
- The answer is yes! We have volume discounting based on the number of video hours you buy. And since most training videos don’t require script development or extensive personal coaching or preparation, the development of training programs is quite cost-effective.

Where does the taping take place?
- We have a fully equipped professional studio in our Chicago location. We also have flexible crew, and we can come out and tape you on location. Or, if you prefer, we can use a professional actor/actress working in our studio to get your message across.
Do I have to write my own copy?
- weboffices has a highly talented copywriting staff that knows how to deliver your content with a punch. We have veteran reporters working that know how to interview you in person or by phone, and translate the message you want to send in a meaningful and impactful way. Or, you can send us your original copy, and we can wordsmith it with you. We are open to suggestion, but we have found that short messages for profile pieces are the most effective.
What is a ‘Green Screen’?
When videotaping, we place you in front of a special green background. Then we insert a digital background, using a technique called chroma keying, so your final video shows you in whatever setting you choose. You can be in a boardroom, behind a curtain, or in the middle of snowstorm!
